Our Outreach

Every other Friday night we pack up food and drink and head to Kensington and Somerset Sts in Philadelphia. This is probably the biggest drug corner in the city. We set up two tables under the El and lay out 125 Arby roast beef sandwiches, 5 cases of water, a case of bananas, and a load of pastries donated by Giant Food. In the winter we also serve hot soup. We offer prayer to everyone and we are rarely turned down. Most are addicts in bondage to Satan and torn apart by drugs. We lay hands on them and ask the power of Jesus to come and break their chains of bondage. We know God is at work even though we may not see a physical manifestation We supply names and phone numbers of rehabs and offer to take people there if they are willing.
